Liquiddamage.com.au is a website owned and operated by Zielee Pty Ltd.  Zielee Pty Ltd also own and run Cherry Computers Brighton, a retail shop front with a repair centre based in Brighton, South Australia. Other names associated with Zielee Pty Ltd are Mac Repairs Australia, MacRepairsAdelaide.com.au, MacRepairsMelbourne.com.au, CustomGamingPC.com.au and LogicRepairs.com.au

LiquidDamage.com.au is owned by Zielee Pty Ltd, with a head office based at 198 Greenhill Road, Eastwood South Australia.
Cherry Computers Brighton handle all PC and Mac Sales and Repairs at its shop front at 497 Brighton Road Brighton SA. Zielee Pty Ltd also have a repair centre based at Hoppers Crossing in Victoria, as Mac Repairs Australia.

The repair cost to fix your Liquid Damaged device will cost $599, though there might be other damage (for example a keyboard).
All further repair charges that may be incurred will be included in a formal quote that you will you will receive by SMS and email.
All charges are listed "here". There are no hidden charges.

Our team of talented technicians trained in component level repairs are highly skilled. Our success rate is very high on ALL types of Liquid Damage. Our return rate is also VERY low, but don't forget that in the unlikely event of your MacBook failing, ALL of our repairs at liquiddamage.com.au come with a 6 month warranty on Parts, Labour and Freight.

Generally speaking most repairs are 7-10 Days from when you ship your device to the time you receive it back via Australia Post. We are open 7 days and almost ALL Public Holidays. All Public Holiday Closings will be posted clearly on our website ahead of time.
In the event of a difficult repair or other unforeseen delays we will contact the Customer and advise of the delay.

Shipping time frames are based on Business Days and therefore EXCLUDE weekends. Please take this into consideration with your delivery.
All shipping is Express through Australia Post which is typically a Next Day service. Please note that Australia Post covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and Post Office boxes. The service operates between all capital cities (except Darwin and in Perth CBD only) and some major centres. If you fall outside of these areas you are likely to experience some delays in shipping.
Liquiddamage.com.au shall not be responsible for damages or delays resulting from acts of God, and from other actions, both governmental and otherwise, including but not limited to war, riot, seizure, embargo, or inclement weather.

If your MacBook is a $599 flat-rate repair, your product will be repaired and shipped back to you.
If your MacBook requires further charges listed "here", you will be contacted by phone call, email, or both with a repair estimate by the next business day. Once you have been contacted and approve the required repair, your product will be added to a repair queue for completion. Repairs after diagnosis are performed in the order in which they were received and/or approved, so they may not be shipped within 24 hours.
Please note that if we require approval for additional repairs the quicker we receive a response from you, the sooner the repair will be completed.
If you provide a non-working phone number or email address, you will likely experience a delay.
If we are currently out-of-stock on a part that is required, you will be notified. We cannot complete the repair until we get stock of that part. This rarely happens.

If your MacBook is booked in as a standalone Repair (Not Insurance related) and is found to be unrepairable, it is typically Recycled.
If you would like your MacBook returned in the condition we have left the UNREPAIRABLE MacBook in then a Freight fee of $39 will be incurred.

You will also need to consider if you require any Data transferred to an External 2Tb Pocket Drive if it is so possible. If Data Recovery is required please visit our Repair Costs page "here".
Please note, if any MacBooks are deemed UNREPAIRABLE and Data is required we will give a free quote on transfer/recovering that data when we notify you.

If your MacBook is Insurance related and deemed UNREPAIRABLE the $599 base fee is VOID, even if approved through your insurer. We will compile an Insurance report at a cost of $139 to be Paid by the Customer that in MOST cases is reimbursed by the insurer. The Letter will deem the MacBook as UNREPAIRABLE and recommend a replacement with its cost sourced from JB HiFi, Harvey Norman or The Good Guys.

When we say "next day", "overnight", etc. we are referring to business days. Generally Business Days are Monday through to Friday. We are open 7 days and almost ALL Public Holidays. All Public Holiday Closings will be posted clearly on our website ahead of time.

No. If you decide that you don't want to pay for the repair, your MacBook will typically be recycled at no cost to you.

Once we receive your product we'll perform a damage assessment on the MacBook.
By booking in your MacBook with us you are pre-approving the repair for the cost of $599.
If we find that it is repairable within the $599 flat-fee for liquid damage we will begin the repair and seek payment from you upon completion.
Any further repairs required will be quoted and repair will not begin until we have received your approval for the updated price.

From that point, the quote is valid for 30 days, and is subject to change after this period.
If 90 days have passed and we still have not received your decision for repair we will deem your product to have been abandoned and will recycle it appropriately. Once that happens, the product is gone and we can't get it back for you. You will not be charged for this service.
We receive so many shipments per day that this is a necessity just to preserve space in our facility.

We will determine, at our discretion, whether your packaging is safe to ship back to you. We use our very own protective and insured boxes so that your shipment arrives as safely as possible.
So you might not get your original packaging back.

Our standard warranty is 6 Months on ALL repairs. This warranty includes any Parts included in the Original repair. Labour and Freight charges are also covered under the 6 month warranty.
If there is a different warranty period for a specific item, it will be listed on the product page and/or invoice.

Payment for your repair(s) is due upon completion.

Your device will not be shipped back until we have received payment for the repair, and in the case of a Direct Debit until the payment has cleared (With most banks this can take 2-3 Business Days).

If you are experiencing financial hardship please contact us to see if we can negotiate a payment plan for you.
Your device will not be shipped until the final payment has been received/cleared - This is NOT negotiable.

If 90 days have passed and we still have not either received payment or agreed to other arrangements for payment of the repair we will deem your product to have been abandoned and will recycle it appropriately or resell it to recover the cost of repair. In either case your data is securely deleted from the device to maintain your privacy.
Once that happens, the product is gone and we can't get it back for you.

We receive so many shipments per day that this is a necessity just to preserve space in our facility.

MacBooks are considered E-Waste when it comes to their disposal.
Because of this and our commitment to the environment we offer free E-Waste recycling for all devices we receive.

If your device is being recycled by us we will ensure that all components are disposed of/recycled correctly, and at our discretion some components may be reused. We believe that reusing components where possible can be one of the best ways of recycling that can significantly reduce our impact on the environment. Any reused components are disclosed as such, WE DO NOT SELL USED COMPONENTS AS NEW.

Any device that is recycled will have all data securely deleted to maintain your privacy (You will be provided with options of recovering your data prior to recycling where possible).
